My Black Tie Kit, Complete

The outfit I wore to my sister’s wedding was almost perfect, for me. The biggest issue was the shirt, which I didn’t love. It was from Hockerty, and it was fine, but I wanted something a little nicer.

Fortunately, I recently got it! From a brand that I won’t explicitly support until they actually respond to my emails… but it’s a nice shirt, pique bib, takes studs. Without the bib / pleats, your fine white shirting might be too transparent. You don’t want that for black tie.

Then, I needed some studs. I got a set from Codis Maya through Michael Andrews Bespoke. I have a project with MAB that should go live soon… Be on the lookout.
